PROJECT SUMMARY
The Carvel Property Development consists of a master planned golf and recreational vacation and second home community designed around an active lifestyle offering a range of recreational amenities. Housing options will be oriented to various lifestyles with architectural themes compatible with the natural resources of the site and the character of the local communities.
Carvel encompasses over 2,200 beautiful rolling acres and hidden dells in the Towns of Pine Plains and Milan in northeastern Dutchess County. The existing Carvel Golf Course and portions of the partially developed existing subdivision will be redeveloped into a refined quality club course and new golf clubhouse facility. Homeowner’s Association amenities will include a 9-hole academy golf course, hiking trails, swimming, tennis, field sports, lakefront activity area, natural open space preservation parcels, and a Clubhouse containing spa facilities, indoor recreation activities, and dining facilities.
The development plan is a natural resource-based design that evaluates and considers site and community resources, natural resources, and community character. As a result, the Carvel Property Development will be socially responsible, rest well within the land and community, guarantee the preservation of significant open space, and be visually compatible with the surrounding environment.
The development will have all necessary infrastructure including an on-site central water supply system and sewer treatment system, drainage facilities and far-reaching natural resource protection and enhancement programs.
