Spruce Farm Chautauqua
The Spruce Farm Chautauqua is envisioned as a center for agriculture, the arts, historic preservation, education and recreation. The Chautauqua would include an artists-in-residence program where visiting artists would work, exhibit, and conduct educational and cultural art programs. Visiting artists would be provided with temporary living quarters while in residence.
The Spruce Farm Chautauqua would also be available for small public events and meetings, including crafts/local food fairs, lectures and educational programming, coffee-house style concerts, picnics, outdoor movie screenings and similarly scaled educational or recreational events.
The Chautauqua would also include parking, restrooms, access to the Ham Brook Trail System, and a community garden offered for use by community organizations.
